Global Peace Secretariat adds 'Mother's of Human Rights' to Women's Walk of Fame for National Women's History Month

Global Peace Secretariat added ' Mother's of Human Rights' section to the Women's Walk of Fame with First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt and Dr. Hansa Mehta for National Women's History Month.

First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt is the architect of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights articles and Dr. Hansa Mehta is  credited with making a change in the language of Article 1 of the UDHR, by replacing the phrase "All men are born free and equal" to "All human beings are born free and equal". Dr. Mehta was also involved in drafting of the Constitution of India.

The Women's Walk of Fame is comprised of Women whose journey is about Peace and Legacy 'Daughters', who carry on the work of  iconic Peace builders Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, who Miss Gupta has had the honor of knowing and meeting over time.
