Yale Delegation Visits India For Academic Partnerships

Yale University’s vice provost for research, Michael Crair, traveled to India from Feb.23 to Mar.1 as part of a delegation led by Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont. The visit aimed to bolster economic and academic collaborations between Connecticut and India, with Yale’s participation highlighting its commitment to international research partnerships.

The delegation, which visited Chennai, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, engaged with Indian government officials and leading business figures. Accompanying Governor Lamont were Connecticut Economic and Community Development Commissioner Daniel O’Keefe, Connecticut Innovations CEO Matthew McCooe, former PepsiCo CEO Indra Nooyi (SOM ’80), and University of Connecticut President Radenka Maric.
