Currently a Mason Fellow and Fulbright Scholar at Harvard Kennedy School, Ashish brings a unique perspective, having transitioned from investment banking at Lehman Brothers and Nomura to a decorated career in the Indian Police Service (IPS). Recognized globally as one of IACP’s “40 Under 40” promising leaders in policing, he has pioneered AI-driven governance initiatives and SMART policing strategies that have impacted millions. Talk Overview: Ashish will take us through his journey from investment banking to law enforcement, sharing key experiences from Varanasi to Ayodhya to Boston. He will also discuss his current research at Harvard Kennedy School, focusing on AI, Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), and semiconductor advancements—critical areas for AI-led governance, economic growth, and national security.
