Jaya Asthana 01/23/2025 Dr.
Madhusudan (Madhubhai) Jhaveri passed away on January 17, 2025. Madhubhai
was in ill health for quite some time. He was in late eighties. He
leaves behind wife Pallavibahen, daughters Shruti, Mona and her husband Janak
and grandchildren. Madhubhai
was one of the pioneers of VHPA, having been associated with it since its
inception. He also served as a President of VHPA and was instrumental in
success of many of VHPA's conferences and Youth camps. He was a prolific writer
and a poet of high caliber having composed poems in Gujarati, Hindi, Marathi,
English and Sanskrit. Madhubhai was a sought-after speaker and it was a sight
to see spellbound audiences as he spoke forcefully and with conviction. Madhubhai
had a Ph.D. In structural engineering and he was a Professor Emeritus at UMass
Dartmouth, MA. So
many of us learnt the ropes of VHPA and its vision, how to work with diverse
groups and how to resolve conflicts at the feet of Madhubhai. Madhubhai's
seminal works are his two books (in Hindi) Shabda Bharati and Gaurav Bharati
published by VHPA. May
Ishwara grant sadgati to his Atma on its onward journey, and courage and
patience to the family go through this difficult period. Condolences
may be sent to Pallavibahen on WhatsApp at +1 (508) 369-5317 or <jhaverip@hotmail.com>. ![]() You may also access this article through our web-site http://www.lokvani.com/ |
