It is with great joy and excitement that we announce an inspiring new chapter in our mission to support and uplift seniors. FISCO is proud to be partnering with the Shrewsbury Council on Aging (COA), starting on February 4th, 2025, and every 1st and 3rd Tuesday thereafter. We are also thrilled to soon be launching our cultural meal programs at the Norton COA, Norwood COA and Newton COA, forging collaborations that will enhance the lives of seniors through meaningful companionship, enriching connections, and compassionate care.

For the past 14 years, FISCO has been making a difference in the lives of the Asian Indian senior community, supporting over 240 senior families at Burlington COA. Our partnership with Westford COA, which began in November 2024 with the grand launch of a Diwali Celebration, has been a monumental success, and we are excited to extend these initiatives to additional locations.

These partnerships mark an important step toward achieving our shared goal of improving the quality of life for the senior community. Our programs not only provide assistance, but also offer hope, joy, and a renewed sense of belonging.

At the heart of this initiative is our deep commitment to ensuring that seniors have the opportunities they deserve to live fulfilling, connected, and active lives. Together, we aim to create spaces where seniors can come together, build friendships, and engage in activities that nurture their emotional, physical, and social well-being.

We are thrilled to announce a series of exciting programs that will soon be available to seniors at both the Norton COA, Norwood COA and Newton COA, including:

• Cultural Meals: Celebrating diversity and offering an opportunity to experience unique flavors and traditions from around the world.
• Meditation Sessions: Promoting mindfulness and relaxation, fostering mental clarity and peace.
• Healthy Aging Awareness Sessions: Expert-led discussions sharing tips and knowledge to help seniors live healthy, fulfilling lives as they age.
• Summer Picnics & Fall Sunset Dinner Cruise: Bringing the joy of the outdoors and community together in a relaxed and casual environment.
• Diwali Celebrations: Honoring cultural traditions and fostering a sense of unity among participants.
• Out-of-State Trips: Offering exciting travel opportunities for seniors to explore new places, create lasting memories, and strengthen bonds with fellow participants.
