Freedom To and From

Life seems like a yarn roll

With more and more tangles

Many times in our life journey

We pull and push some knots

Harder or softer to resolve wrangles

Some knots seem adorable

Some seem endearing in life

Some become unbearable

Some turn out disgusting

Some knots become stressful

Some knots become fragile

With harsh and hard words

Some snap and give pain

Soon relations begin to wane

Or occasionally time keeps pawing

Healthy or unhealthy knots

Strangle us in the worldly life

I never wanted to be knotted

And learnt the art to untangle

I want to shun all the strings

Not waiting for the death

Undo all the knots I wear

I wish to unknot my mind

My heart, my soul, my body

To move out of the cobweb

I remove all knots for good

Cast off each enslaving chain

Confiscate all the attachments

Eradicate all the sources of pain

I wish to unknot all the bonds

I wish to forgive, and forget

And move ahead by untying knots

I desire to be light, be pure and be free

And let the wings of an eagle

Carry me to a new place

I aspire to reside in a abode

Among the stars above in the sky

Where there is freedom to roam

To ride, to fly and to walk

And nothing goes wrong there in

Where colorful flowers bloom

Everywhere and endlessly

Cool wind blows passively

Where there is no one to hurt me
And my spirit stays free and strong
