Global Peace Secretariat marks Children's Day with Free Movie

November 14th Children's Day  commemorating birth anniversary of India's 1st PM Jawaharlal Nehru who advocated for children's education & rights and November 20th being World Children's Day, established by UN General Assembly  in 1954 as Universal Children's Day, is being marked by Global Peace Secretariat by providing a free link to watch the documentary "Children of Bal Ashram" on Nobel Peace Laureate Kailash Satyarthi's wife, Mrs. Sumedha Satyarthi and her efforts on helping on elimination of child labor.

"A lot has been said about Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi , who I have had the honor and privilege of knowing and working with for some time but Mrs. Sumedha Satyarthi is a formidable force and equal partner in this journey , who is not mentioned as much"......Secretary General Kumu Gupta.

The documentary "Children of Bal Ashram" was produced by Len Morris, a Massachusetts Child Rights Activist and recipient of US Department of Labor's Iqbal Masih Award for Elimination of Child Labor. Len’s work has been shown at the US Department of Labor, The World Bank, the US State Department, USAID and on dozens of college campuses.
