HWN Online Panel Discussion

Celebrating Hindu Heritage Month 2024

When we think of the characters in the Ramayan, mostly male characters come to mind. But there are numerous female characters who play an even more important part. Come listen to a seminar on "Women in Ramayan", hosted by Hindu Women's Network.

Hear from the erudite Keynote speaker, Sushree Bhanumati Narasimhan, from Art of Living, and a distinguished panel of speakers, Dr. Archana Shyamsundar, an accomplished Nephrologist in Winchester, Virginia and a firm believer in Sanatana Dharma, Shri Kartik Shyamsundar, a Distinguished Engineer/Fellow at a major internet company and adjunct faculty at Johns Hopkins University and deeply committed to Hindu Dharma, and Smt. Vallabha Tantry, Regulatory Affairs Associate in a leading Life Science Company in Minneapolis and Program coordinator for the Hindu Mandir Empowerment Council.

They will be talking about several little-known and often misunderstood female characters like Sumitra, Anusuya, Kaikeyi, Manthara, and several others.

The webinar will be held on Sunday Nov 17, at 2 PM. Please see the flyer (attached) for more information.
