‘Miss India New England’ 2024 Ethnic showcase was presented on Oct 13th at Hilton Woburn in Massachusetts. This year it was a part of ‘Boston Fashion Week: Timeless’ event organized by Ruchika Arora. The contestants   presented beauty and tradition of Indian clothing and textiles.; and they were judged on catwalk and introduction. Judges were Punita Sinha, Sasha Hoffman and Ilahi Creary. Training was provided by Elena Calvagna of Dynasty Models. 

Pinkaari by Sonal Gadhavi, Husna by 3F, Timeless by Ruchika Arora and Shobitam were the featured handcrafted collections in sequence of fashion shows. Indigo dyed fabric, Chikankari, Zardosi and Aari embroideries, Shibori prints on silk were presented as a grand showcase. 

Program began with Ganesh Naam presented by Shraddha Agarwal in her melodious voice, Miley Arora presented semi-classical Kathak on 'Kaahe Chhed Chhed Mohe' and 'Taal Se Taal'. Miss India New England always made efforts to celebrate our Indian heritage in a vibrant way. Opening Dance choreography to welcome reigning crown holders was done by Sona Seth. Being part of Boston Fashion Week was a proud moment where other communities were also involved. Mona Bhowmick received Excellence Award in 'Choreography and Teaching of Classical and Modern Kathak'.

The pageant is affiliated with 42 year old Miss India USA and Worldwide Pageant organization which is the largest pageant system in the world for girls of Indian heritage. This years sponsors for Crowns were Mr Sandeep Asija, Dr Manju Sheth and Dr Seema Arora.

As 'Miss India New England' pageant has witnessed several success stories since 2012 at State, National and International level- it also saw transformation of New England as a hub where opportunity to shine became available to girls and women of Indian heritage. 'Miss India New England'; 'Miss India Teen New England' and 'Mrs India New England' are very proud of the fact that they have done major contribution in this transformation.
