IANH Invites Applications for 2024 IANH Youth Service Awards   Deadline for Applications: Saturday October 31, 2024   Purpose The purpose of IANH Youth Service Awards is to recognize the contributions made by the IANH Youth members by volunteering at IANH and other community service activities.   Eligibility Criteria ·        Any IANH member enrolled in grades 9, 10, 11 & 12 can apply.  ·        The applicant’s IANH membership should be active on the application deadline (October 31, 2024) for the application to be considered for this award. ·        A student who has received the Youth Service award in the past is not eligible to apply again.   Application Guidelines ·        The application should include the following: o  An essay not exceeding 500 words explaining why you should be considered for this award. o  List of IANH volunteer activities (e.g., IANH Soup Kitchen Service, Goffstown nursing home visits, volunteering at IANH events such as Education Bees, Diwali Festival, Vasant Festival, Soup Kitchen Service, Youth Group activities, etc.) o  List of non-IANH community service activities (e.g., volunteering at local hospitals, nursing homes, community service events, etc.) o  Any supporting documentation that would help your application.   Submission Address: ·        Send your application and supporting documentation to secretary@ianh.org before the deadline.     Submission Deadline ·        The deadline for submitting the completed applications is October 31, 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.   Selection Process ·        Up to ten applicants will be selected by the IANH Award Screening Committee based on the selection criteria.  ·        The decision of the Award Screening Committee shall be final.   Award Announcement Date ·        Award winners will be announced before the Diwali Festival and the awards will be presented at the IANH Diwali Festival on November 10, 2024.   Award Presentation ·        Each award winner will receive a plaque and certificate from IANH.   Any Questions? ·        Please contact Tej Dhakar, Secretary at secretary@ianh.org or 603-668-9028.
