Congratulations
for celebrating the 52nd Annual show of Triveni School of Dance at the
prestigious MIT's Kresge Auditorium.
As always, it was delightful to watch the show starting with the tiny tots
perform so beautifully. That actually set the cadence for both the
Acts. Throughout the 20 dances, vibrantly dressed dancers coupled with an
amazing choreography symbolized their devotion to the most ancient and
pure forms of Indian Classical dances. Your unique style of illustrating each
dance bore impression of your decades of profoundness
and expertise. The Teachers' Finale was spellbinding, vivacious and
flowlessly elegant. You, along with teachers exuded an epitome of perfection,
devinity and grace.
In your introductory speech you made a remark about your students transforming
from young beginners to many becoming teachers at Triveni.
This metamorphosing would have not become possible without your
vigorous endeavor, unwavering commitment and a fervid love for Indian Classical
dance. I must say, during the rehearsals I was overwhelmed to watch you sing
and recite a full story in Tamil - effortlessly. That's your versatilty par
excellence.
We also witnessed the Arangetram awards being given out and were pleasantly
astonished to find that some of your students came from New York and
other far away places to receive them. That speaks volumes about your persona
and a niche that you have carved for yourself as a dancer, teacher, mentor and
above all - of an irreplaceable Neena Aunty to all your students, teachers
and us alike. Its indeed a rare feat to achieve.
No words will ever be enough to thank your Team Triveni. Everyone who has
tirelessly worked behind the scenes, back stage and
your prodigious teachers who have worked so hard to bring about
the very best in each of the dancers that made us all so proud. Truly, Hats off
to them.
Incidentally, in 2017, it was in this same auditorium Tarjani performed her
very 1st dance ( Sun dance) under your auspices. This year was her 7th Annual
show and we want to keep counting. We earnestly pray that you continue to bless
her and all of us for many many more years to come.
May Ganapati Bappa's and Lord Nataraj's abundant blessings be always upon you
and your family.
