Mysore Brothers

 

The Mysore Brothers, Dr. Mysore M. Manjunath and Mysore Nagaraj, are renowned violin maestros in the world of Indian classical music. Hailing from Mysore, Karnataka, they have carved a niche for themselves with their mesmerizing performances in the Carnatic music tradition. Trained under their father, violinist Mahadevappa, their playing style is known for its remarkable blend of technical virtuosity and deep emotional expression. The Mysore Brothers have become prominent figures on the global stage for their captivating duets, often praised for their seamless synchronization and mastery of complex ragas.

 

They have performed at prestigious venues worldwide, and showcasing the richness of Carnatic music to diverse audiences. They have performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London, Sydney Opera House in Australia, International Violin Conference, Common Thread Music festival in United States, Federation Square in Melbourne, World Music Festival in Chicago, Oxford University among numerous other venues.
