Paramahamsa Prajnanananda is the current Guru in an unbroken lineage of Kriya Yoga Masters, beginning with Babaji Maharaj and including Yogiraj Shri Shyamacharan Lahiri Mahashaya, Paramahamsa Yogananda (author of Autobiography of a Yogi), and Paramahamsa Hariharananda, among others. He travels the world teaching Kriya Yoga and guiding people on how to integrate spiritual practice into daily life.  Additionally, he devotes much of his time to philanthropic activities including overseeing the Balashram school for underprivileged children in India as well as medical centers offering free medical care for the rural population of India.
