This year's Indian American for Burlington (IAB) Diwali celebration, the Festival of Lights, will take place on September 29th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Rain date: Oct 6th) at the Burlington Town Common.

The theme for this year's Diwali celebration is "Threads of India," which aims to showcase the richness and diversity of traditional Indian weaves and handicrafts. We would be honored to have you and your family join us in this vibrant celebration of culture and community.

The event will feature a variety of activities, including:

• Cultural Dance Performances: Enjoy an array of traditional and contemporary dances performed by talented local artists.
• Kids Entrepreneurs Segment: A special platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas and businesses.
• Kids Art and Craft Activity: Engaging and fun activities for children to explore their creativity.
• Raffles: Exciting opportunities to win unique prizes.
• Vendor Shopping: A marketplace with a variety of vendors offering traditional and modern goods.
• Henna: Beautiful henna designs by skilled artists.
• Indian Food by "The Treasury Kitchen": Savor delicious Indian cuisine, bringing authentic flavors to the community.
• Honouring guest: Likewise every year we will be Honoring the town officials and selectmen of Burlington town and other leaders of Indo american organisations who aims to celebrate our culture and heritage in their own ways 

This year, we are excited to introduce a Fashion Show that will highlight the beauty of traditional Indian attire and the craftsmanship of Indian weaves and handicrafts. We are thrilled that students from Burlington High School and the South Asian Student Association (SASA) will be participating in this event, showcasing the next generation of Indian Americans celebrating their cultural heritage. Your presence would greatly encourage our high schoolers as they proudly represent Indian traditions.
