O’ my loving brother
Your sister is waiting for you
Do not forget Rakhi occasion
Fulfil the bond of Rakhi and
Cherish the blessed relationship

This day is the festival of happiness
As holy as the water of Ma Ganga
Monsoon season is dancing around me
Come soon to have your Rakhi from me 

O’ my loving brother
I put auspicious vermilion
I tie the silk string on your wrist
It is a delicate thread but brother
Our bond does not break even beyond lifetime

O’ my loving brother
All the world knows it very well
Your doll like sister is waiting for you
And lighting a lamp of remembrance
Hey brother fulfill the Rakshabandhan 

O’ my loving brother
I do not ask for silver anklets
I do not ask for a gold chain
I will ask for my brother’s love
Certainly, for my brother’s some love

O’ my loving brother
I made this lovely Rakhi for you
With little stars from the blue sky
And decorated with the glowing rays of sun
I will tie this Rakhi to you with much love 

O’ my loving brother
Remember, your loving sister
Not going to be always near you
May be in a remote country depressed
But with a hope to you at least on a Rakhi Day
