Join us in celebrating India's 78th Independence with the International INDIA day Parade at Boston Harbor (India Street), a momentous occasion that you won't want to miss.

The parade will be graced by Miss World, Diana Hayden, who will serve as the Honorary Grand Marshal, bringing her grace and star power to the event. Binaya Srikanta Pradhan, the Consul General of India in New York, will join as the Chief Guest, alongside a distinguished lineup of special guests, including Grand Marshal Manoj Tiwari, a renowned actor, singer, and Member of Parliament, and Hollywood actress Neetu Chandra.

All individuals with Indian heritage and their friends and supporters from any other heritage are cordially invited to be part of this historical celebration.

WHEN: August 10, 2024, 10 AM to 3 PM at Boston Harbor, Christopher Columbus Waterford Park, 110 Atlantic Avenue, Boston

FLOATS: The parade will feature an array of captivating floats with themes including the contribution of Indian Community, Freedom Fighters from India and USA, Service, Art, and Culture and religious display.

ROUTE AND DISTANCE: The parade Commercial Street, Boston and conclude at Christopher Columbus Park, 110 Atlantic Avenue, Boston.

SENIORS: Senior citizens are specially invited to witness and bless this occasion. For those who find it challenging to walk the distance, you can watch the parade from the sidewalk and join the flag hoisting ceremony at Christopher Columbus Park.  https://tinyurl.com/INDIADAYHSN

TRANSPORTATION: Closest T station is AQUARIUM (only 200 ft from the park) on the Blue line. The STATE, GOVT. CENTER and HAYMARKET are within 1/2 mile from the Parade route. Parking in various parking spots around the event are free/pay and park and many public garages are available.

FOOD: Indian traditional food will be available

CELEBRITIES: The parade is expected to be graced by many dignitaries from Government and renowned celebrities. The names of these special guests will be revealed soon.

SAFETY: This parade is being organized under the supervision of the Boston Police department. Honor them, cooperate with them and follow their instructions for a safe and enjoyable event.
