Foundation Of Indian Americans New England Celebrates 248th US Independence Day With Flair

The Foundation of Indian Americans New England, alongside the vibrant Indian American community of Boston, marked the 248th anniversary of American Independence with a memorable celebration. Amidst the scenic backdrop of Holden, the event unfolded with a resounding sense of pride and camaraderie.

The festivities were amplified by a live band performance led by renowned guitarist Mark Fleming, whose music resonated through the gathering, adding a touch of rhythm to the evening. Adding to the culinary delight was the exquisite live multinational cuisine curated by Boston's celebrated chef, Hardayal Singh. Attendees savored a fusion of flavors that mirrored the diversity and richness of both Indian and American cultures.

The celebration took on added significance as it coincided with a historic moment in sports: the Indian Cricket Team clinched the T20 World Cup, a triumph that electrified the spirits of attendees, bridging continents and celebrating shared victories.

Chief Guest Ram Gupta and Meeta Gupta, along with Guest of Honors State Rep. Robert and Marian Lancia, Team Aid founder Mohan & Shama Nannapaneni, Asija Group founder Sandeep Asija, VHPA President Kaushik Patel, Ms. Continent Worldwide Meggie Lemay, extended warm wishes to the community for a happy and prosperous July 4th. International Mrs. North America 2024, Misti Nordstrom, welcomed the audience with a greeting message underscoring the significance of July 4th.

"We gather today not only to celebrate American Independence but also to honor the contributions of Indian Americans who enrich the fabric of this nation," remarked FIA Executive VP Sanjay Gokhale. He eloquently explained the historical importance of July 4th as a symbol of freedom and unity.

The celebration, emceed by Anupama Debroy and Manisha Kumar, was flawlessly executed by FIA Executives Deepak Rathore, Anand Sharma, Nikhil Wadhawa, Amol Penshawar, Rakesh Kavsari, and many more dedicated individuals. Their meticulous planning ensured a seamless flow of events and a memorable experience for all attendees.

The evening concluded with heartfelt gratitude expressed by host and FIA President Abhishek Singh and his wife Jyoti Singh, who thanked all esteemed guests and dignitaries for their presence and support in making the celebration a memorable success.
