The Women Who Win Trio - Shaleen Sheth, Dr. Manju Sheth and Dr. Deepa Jhaveri put together an inspiring afternoon celebrating women and also educating attendees. Billed as an afternoon of empowerment and community connection, the event featured outstanding panelists including women CEOS.

The event was held at the Academy of Creative Arts on June 2nd. After some brief introductory remarks, a Diya Dance kicked off the afternoon events. Manisha Jain, President of Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of USA opened the session with a brilliant heartwarming poem that set the tone of the conference.

The first panel of the evening was moderated by Jharna Madan and called From the Page to the Stage where women shared interesting stories. The panel featured very special life stories. It was interesting to see young Devika Dhawan, founder of DFD Dance Academy that many have seen since a young age share her unique story. The next panel moderated by Dr. Shalini Manshramani was focused on Mental Health and Wellbeing. The panelists offered insights from a practitioner's perspective into the mental health space.

CEO of Leader Bank, Sushil Tuli, a strong supporter of Women Who Win shared inspiring words. Sunayna Kachroo, shared a very touching poem she had written for the occasion. This was followed by a dynamic keynote panel moderator by Rita Advani featuring CEOs Dr. Abha Agarwal, Dennella J. Clark, Dr. Maha Radhakrishnan, and Priya Iyer.

The second half of the event featured a unique Male Allies panel moderated by Preetesh Shrivastava on how men who may have been raised in a patriarchal society have changed their view of the world and perceive the importance of equality. Following this, a Community Change Makers panel moderated by Amara and Eshani Shah featured women, Sonali Khond, Ruchika Arora, Shehla Gull, Seema Arora, Neha Kausal, Revathy Ramakrishna, Sutanuka Phoenix, and others, who were doing work in the non-profit space. I was honored to represent Ekal Vidyalaya Foundation of USA which is bringing education and empowerment to over 100,000 very remote rural villages in India. The grand finale was a storytelling segment where women who had overcome adversities in a beautiful way shared their stories.

Shaleen Sheth, Dr. Manju Sheth and Dr. Deepa Jhaveri wove the panels together with their remarks. It truly was an inspirational afternoon where all attendees learned so much and connected in a beautiful way with each other. We look forward to other summits hosted by this dynamic team.
