A Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officer of constable rank allegedly slapped Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Kangana Ranaut during a frisking argument at Chandigarh airport while she was headed to Delhi. Hours after the incident, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media handle to share a video narrating her side of the story. "I am safe," she said in the video posted on her Twitter and Instagram handle. "I am safe. I am perfectly fine. The incident that happened at Chandigarh airport happened during the security check. After I stepped out after the security check, the CISF constable who was in the other cabin, hit me on the face from the side. She also abused me. When I asked her why she did it, she said that she supports the farmers protest. I am safe but my concern is how do we handle the rising violence and terrorism in Punjab," she added.
