Roasted Chana

Salted Chana is a healthy snack for both adults and kids. Everyone enjoys eating roasted Chana.  You can make roasted Chana tried at home. To be frank the homemade roasted Chana taste better than the shop bought ones. So now, I prepare them regularly at home.

                

Ingredients:

1.     1/2 cup black Chana

  1. 1 cup salt for roasting

 

Instructions for making roasted gram:

  1. Take required ½ cup Chana. Rinse and drain the water.
  2. In a thick-bottomed pan take 1-cup table salt and heat it.
  3. Heat salt until it becomes very hot, then put handful Chan for roasting under high flame and stir occasionally since they start to splutter.
  4. Within 1 - 2 minutes, the chickpeas will start to pop. Continue roasting for 10 to 20 more seconds.
  5. Take them out using a netted spatula.
