Press Release 01/25/2024 Thirteen Indian American students are among 40 finalists in this year’s Regeneron Science Talent Search, a prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors. Now in its 83rd year, the competition has “consistently identified young innovators who combine their STEM talent with dedication and leadership skills to drive society forward,†said the press release issued today by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and Society for Science. The finalists were selected from 300 scholars, announced earlier this month, and were chosen “based on their projects’ scientific rigor and their potential to become world-changing scientists and leaders,†the announcement added. They will participate in a week-long competition from March 6-13 in Washington, D.C., where they will undergo a rigorous judging process and compete for more than $1.8 million in awards.
