Taal Mel

Taal Mel is a musical band that brings together rhythms( Taal) and harmonies ( Mel) from the two rich musical cultures that we are lucky enough to be part of - India, where we grew up, and the US where we found our second homes. They love experimenting with Indian and Western classical and pop styles, ranging from Carnatic and Indian film music to blues and rock. Pallavi Nagesha

Pallavi Nagesha is a renowned Bharatnatyam dancer and teacher in the Greater Boston area.  Pallavi will explore the timeless theme of "Nayika." A heroine of exceptional beauty and character, as she experiences the various shades of emotions. In alignment with Saheli's mission, this performance empowers and celebrates women. The Nayika's character reflects the strength, resilience, and emotional depth that women embody in their lives.
