On Saturday, October 21, 2023, the Indian Consular Camp was held at 25th Union Street, Marlborough, MA, and it turned out to be an extraordinary event with the participation of more than 500 Indian American families. The event was organized by Consul General of India, New York in partnership with Foundation of Indian Americans (FIA) New England, and VFS Global, it featured several activities, including Voter Registration and Blood Donation registration, making it a multifaceted initiative.
Prominent philanthropists Subu Kota, Kaushik Patel, and Sandeep Asija played a pivotal role in facilitating a token of appreciation to the Consul Officers and VFS Officers. This gesture acknowledged their exemplary service to the community, highlighting the significance of their work.
The Consular Camp combined various essential services, bringing the Indian community in New England closer to their heritage and each other. The event was further enriched by the presence and efforts of Baljinder Singh, a member of the Kraft family Blood Donation team, who led the blood donation registration and camp.
The Foundation of Indian Americans (FIA) New England, under the leadership of President Abhishek Singh, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Consul General of India, New York, and the entire team for orchestrating such a successful and enjoyable event that provided consular services to over 500+ families.
