In collaboration with Young Indian Professionals of New England, MyDream Entertainment, Miss Bharat New England, hosted its annual Miss Bharat beauty pageant at the Academy of Creative Arts, Burlington, MA on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

The event was attended by approximately 250 people and was filled with glitz, glamour and elegance as there were multiple fashion shows from famous Bollywood Celebrity Fashion Designers like Kirti Rathore, Rohit Verma and Garmi Dubey. They showcased their exquisite collection by amazing local models walking the ramp. Dr. Seema Arora and Moniparna Misra were the choreographers for Kirti Rathore’s both fashion shows.

Bollywood Celebrity, Neha Sharma, was the guest of honor for the event.

The organizers for this event were Rashmi Bedi, Janak Bedi, Raj Gupta, Raju Singla, Preeti Munjal and Neeharika Munjal. Other State directors included Sugandha Gopal, Gopika Narula, Anu Sharma, Seema Chaudhary, Mukta Munjal, Paromita Ghosh and Manju Bollaki.

The judge's panel consisted of  highly successful and accomplished individuals from the Boston community. They included Meghna Trivedi, Harshita Sood, Monika  Gandhi, Ketan Benegal, Divya Salhi, Ranjani Saigal, Manny Singh, Arvind Subramanian, Anita Teig, Sanjog Misra and Kamal Tiku.

The emcees of the evening were Neeharika Munjal, Rahul Gupta, Divya Sharma and Anubha Jain. They did an amazing job facilitating the whole event.

Young Indian Professionals of New England’s founder Neeharika Munjal spoke about her organization and introduced the advisory board to empower individuals to network professionally. The advisory members that were in attendance were Ranjani Saigal, Dipali Trivedi, Sanjay Kudrimoti, Dr. Raju Singla, Dr. Chander Kapasi, Kamal Tiku and Yogita Miharia.

The event’s official photographers were Fotu Duniya - Sanjay and Vasudha Kudrimoti, food was catered by Maya Indian Bar & Grill, Boston Desi DJ Team - DJ Rakesh and DJ Vik were the DJs for the evening and decorations were done by Event Balloon Stylists. Special thanks to Yogi Rana of BSL who very generously gave his LED screen to use for the event. Can’t thank Java Joshi and Hetal Joshi of Academy of Creative Arts, Burlington enough for being so accommodating with our numerous last minute requests in their amazing facility and opening their doors for us so wholeheartedly.

Pageant winners received gift cards from Tashan Restaurant, Blo Dry Bar in Burlington, MA, Steller Prep and couple free Red Sox tickets by Stoneham Bank. Alanita Travels gave two free domestic round trip tickets to the winners of the Miss and Mrs. Category.

Alanita Travel also gave a free round-trip ticket to India as a grand raffle.

Women Empowerment, Business Excellence, Community Service Distinction, Youth Icon, etc. awards were also presented to deserving persons at the end of this glamorous evening.
