Press Release 09/07/2023 Carnatic Vocal Concert By Vidwans Trichur Brothers Trichur Srikrishna Mohan and Ramkumar Mohan, popularly known as the Trichur Brothers were given this nick name by none other than HH Jayendra Saraswathi Maha Swamigal of Kanchi Mutt. Boston’s music lovers have enjoyed their previous visit. They have performed at the LearnQuest Music Conference about five years ago and have toured all over the world. Chinmaya Mission Boston is proud to host them at the Chinmaya Maruti Auditorium in Andover on September 30 at 5 pm. Well known for their very innovative and thematic RTPs and songs in 5 different languages, they have captured the attention and admiration of audience everywhere they have performed. They were initially trained by Madurai Srimathi Balamani Eswar and Sri Thamarakkadu Govindan Namboothiri. They received their advanced training from late Professor Neyyattinkara Mohanachandran with emphasis on Manodharma singing or improvisation. They also had the good fortune to train for more than a decade under Padma Bhushan Sri P.S. Narayana Swami. Their style of raga exploration that involves the exchange of melodic phrases between them has been praised for its uniqueness. They have collaborated with other musicians and genres without compromising the traditions and essence of Carnatic music through their fusion band Anubhooti. The brothers are also qualified Chartered Accountants. Do not miss the opportunity to listen them in person at the Chinmaya Maruti Auditorium on September 30. Their father Trichur R.
