Morari Bapu, the famous Ram Katha exponent from Gujarat is in Boston hosting a 9 day Katha at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, MA. The katha has attracted over 1000 people, some who have come from out of town to listen to Bapu.
He is an exponent of Ramcharitmanas with more than 900 Kathas recited over the last sixty years.Bapu's core message is Truth-Love-Compassion (Satya-Prem-Karuna) and encouraging awareness about Sanatan Dharma Scriptures.
His Katha starts with beautiful music where he leads a Bhajan session accompanied by beautiful instruments including a Shenai. His voice makes one feel the Divinity in and around him. He is a truly dedicated Ram Bhakt who is so humble. “While I am sitting on this stage, I do not consider myself any higher than any of you. I am just one of you. All I do is share any little learning I have with all of you†said Bapu. Many had shared questions with Bapu. “I will use my experience to answer as many questions as I can and that which I cannot answer I will honestly let you knowâ€
He has a unique knack of taking important Dharma concepts and explaining them in a simple manner to the audience. He weaves in the chaupais from the Ramcharitramanas with the story of Rama along with several valuable life lessons. One came away with much learning from the Katha.
The organizers provided meals for the over 1000 people who attended the Katha. The event was truly grand and special for the attendees. To learn more about Murari Bapu please check out the website at https://chitrakutdhamtalgajarda.org/
