By eating magic carbs, you will easily be able to lose your weight or maintain it at a desirable level. Our diet includes three kinds of foods that provide calories to our bodies: 1) Carbohydrates have 4 calories per gram. 2) Proteins have 4 calories per gram, 3) Fats have 9 calories per gram. However, water, minerals and fibers have no calories. When you cut down the fats from your diet, then naturally you will lose weight. What are Carbohydrates: Our food contains three types of carbohydrates -- fiber, starches, and sugars — are essential food nutrients that your body turns into glucose to give you the energy to function. Complex carbs in fruits, vegetables, and whole-grain products are less likely to spike blood sugar than simple carbs (sugars). Low-carb diets like Keto can be high in fats but very low in carbs. Usually, in our regular diet we find 28 to 30 percent fat. For example, if you are 1600-calorie diet, then about 500 calories come from fat, 16 to 18 percent protein will have about 300 calories, the remaining main calories come from carbohydrates. These carbs come from the gains such as Bajra,/Jawar/Ragi/Ata/Besan roti or chapati, rice and any items made from rice. You need to cut down all kinds of grains than fats from your diet to lose weight faster. A 6-inch chapati contains around 15 grams of carbs, 3 grams of protein, 0.4 grams of fat and 71 calories How to quench hunger: You can eat double quantity salads, steamed vegetables, soups, fruits and juices because these are low calorie foods. You will be able to lose weight when you cut down 1600-calorie foods and eat only those foods that give you only 1000 or 800 calories. Mainly, you need to avoid roti, rice, and any foods made from flour and rice. In addition to this, if go for Zero Oil cooking, then that helps you a lot to lose your weight much faster. Why people fail to lose weight: At present, health awareness is at a tempo. Everyone wants to lose weight and maintain normal weight. They do make efforts but do not get results. Let us look at the reasons for their failure. Ninety percent weight loss happens due to eating low calorie foods and only 10 percent weight loss happens due to walking and exercises. Ninety percent people fail in following their low calorie diet regimen. They keep on eating foods from two unhealthy categories – rich calorie (fried items), and high calorie foods – grains (roti and rice). Normally you need 1600 calories a day to perform all our activities. If you eat low calorie foods that provide you less than 1600 calories, then you body starts using up stored calories/energy in the form of fat and you start losing your weight. Let us look at the categories of foods: 1) Rich calorie foods – oil /fried items, 2) High calorie foods – all kinds of gains (70 to 110 calories in a 6 inch roti), 3) Medium Calorie food – Fruits and juices, 4) Low calorie foods – Vegetables and salads 9 calories/gram 4 calories/gram 1 calorie/gram 1 calorie/gram You can eat vegetables and fruits as much as you can feel like and as often as you require. Just cut down two foods such as fried items, and grains (roti and rice) to lose your weight faster. You will lose easily 8 to 10 Kgs in a month. You do not have to follow this low calorie diet for life long. Once, you reach your desirable/normal weight then you can eat one time grains and occasionally fried things in a ration quantity because studies have linked high consumption of fried and fast foods and the foods made by combining flour and oil/fat (Paratha, Samosa, and Gulab Jamun etc.) to increased rates of weight gain and obesity. If you eat rich calorie and bakery products, you will never lose weight even after long distance walking, jogging or running or going to gym. Therefore, always eat more and more low calorie foods -- fruits, vegetables, and salads to lose or maintain your normal weight along with your routine walking and Yoga.
