Radhey Shyam Sharma, a resident of North Andover, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 17, 2023. He was 77. He is survived by his wife, Praveen, and two daughters, Reetu and Payal.

Mr. Sharma was born September 1, 1945, in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India to Sri. Udai Vir Sharma and Smt. Gayatri Devi, and was the oldest of 4 children. He grew up in Aligarh and received his engineering degree from Aligarh University in 1966.  He immigrated to the United States in 1974, and in 1982, he married Praveen, and had two children in 1982 and 1984. He received his MBA from Salem State University in 1989 and had a distinguished career as a Mechanical Engineer with various companies, including Osram Sylvania and Hasbro.

Mr. Sharma was a spirited and ambitious man.  He enjoyed traveling around the world, including Germany, Egypt, Turkey, China, and Peru.  He also enjoyed history, exploring nature, watching old Indian movies, and photography.  Mr. Sharma’s happiest times were when he was with family and friends, ideally with a karaoke machine or sharing his travel photos.

To pay respects, farewell services will take place on Friday, June 23 at Driscoll Funeral Home at 309 S. Main St, Haverhill, MA from 10:00am to 11:30am.
