Executive Producer Chandu Shah’s film DALlLAND is set for a limited release USA wide 9th June by Magnolia Pictures.
The film will also be streaming on PVOD (Apple, Amazon, Google, etc.)
Set in New York and Spain in 1973, the film tells the story of the later years of the strange and fascinating marriage between Salvador Dalà and his tyrannical wife, Gala, as their seemingly unshakable bond begins to stress and fracture.
Base on the life of suurreaist artist Salvador Dali where Sir Ben Kingsley is playing Dali. The biopic captures the madness, the comedy and the tragedy of the surrealist legend Salvador Dali who turned his very identity into a work of art.

The film’s world premier was at Toronto Film Festival last year in September as a closing ohhh film. Chandu Shah attended the closing night film premier with wife Eshani Shah and other producers as well as the director and star cast of the film. Walking the red carpet, lining up for interviews, clicked by paparazzi, before and after show parties, were the memories of lifetime says Shah.
While the film DALILAND was shot in UK during the pandemic among the utmost care for the cast and crew in April 2021, Sir Ben Kingsley caught covid days before the premier in Toronto and could not attend the show. A message from the actor was played before the show of close to a 1,000 in attendance.
The Italian version of the film DALÃLAND, starring Sir Ben Kingsley released in Italian theaters on May 25th by Plaion Pictures.
