PROBLEM # 1
There are three children in a family. The oldest is 15. The average of their ages is 11. The median age is 10. How old is the youngest child? FOR GROWNUPS
PROBLEM # 2
In triangle ABC,
the point D = (7, 3) is the midpoint of side AB
the point E = (10, 9) is the midpoint of side BC
the point F = (5, 5) is the midpoint of side AC.

114 years.

PROBLEM # 2
One angle of a traingle has a measure of x. The sides are sin(x), cos(x) and tan (x) and the product of the sides is 1/4. Determine the cosine of the largest angle.
SOLUTION
Sides are 1/2, 1/sqrt(3), and (sqrt(3))/2.
