We regret to inform you of the passing away of IANH Life Member Ajit Kumar in the early hours of Friday, May 26, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. 

Ajit did his B.Tech from IIT Kanpur and Masters and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University. After working for some years, he started his own real-estate business in New Hampshire. 

Ajit was a life member of the India Associaion of New Hampshire (IANH). He attended many IANH picnics and other events. He volunteered at and sponsored IANH Soup Kitchen services at Nashua and Derry.

He is survived by his wife Lalba Rani and daughters Shalini and Swati, son-in-law Michael Radosevich, two grandsons Nikhil and Vikash and a number of siblings.

The visitation, antyeshti (funeral) puja and viewing are scheduled for 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Peabody Funeral Homes, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH 03053. The puja will follow a brief memorial Service. A private cremation (due to limited space) will be held in Derry, NH immediately after these services. Following the cremation, there will be a reception that is open to everyone at their house at Cross Farms Condos, 8 Cranberry Circle, Londonderry, NH 03053.
