Volunteer for a noble cause: अभ्यासेऽप्यसमर्थोऽसि मत्कर्मपरमो भव । मदर्थमपि कर्माणि कुर्वन्सिद्धिमवाप्स्यसि ॥ १२-१०॥ abhyāse ’py asamartho ’si mat-karma-paramo bhava mad-artham api karmāṇi kurvan siddhim avāpsyasi In Bhakti Yoga of Srimad Bhagavadgita, the Lord says to Arjuna that by performing service with devotion to HIM, one can achieve the state of perfection. Selfless seva is the very essence of devotion to the Lord. As our Chinmaya Mission pledge says, service to the country/community is service to the Lord of Lords and devotion to the people is devotion to the Supreme Self.  The Trisati Suvasini Puja presents a great opportunity to do this type of service.
