The annual SEWA Holi function was held on April 30 at the Nara Park in Acton. Despite the heavy rain, people showed up to participate in the cultural program and be part of the fair. SEWA works to bring transformational change in the lives of the underserved and people in disaster relief situations.
SEWA Boston’s 'Feed the Hungry' program exists to provide healthy and nutritious food to families in the underprivileged neighborhoods in Massachusetts. Sewa Boston partners with local non-profits to deliver its Feed the Hungry program.
At the event, Vandana Tiwari Sharma and Ranjani Saigal were invited to present volunteer appreciation certificates to the young SEWA volunteers who are actively engaged in the various SEWA activities.
Several youngsters presented dances and music presentations. Despite a very wet day, the spirit of SEWA brought a lot of cheer to all present.
