Over 300 young Indian professionals gathered at the first in-person networking event on April 12 in Burlington. The group started by 23 year old Founder and CEO Neeharika Munjal, a year ago has grown by leaps and bounds providing a much needed social network for Indian Professionals.
The event was held at the Academy of Creative Arts in Burlington, MA. “This is such a great opportunity to meet other young professionals,†said Anamika Mishra. The lighting and the ambience was perfectly set for a networking event. Cocktail tables focused on specific interests were placed around the hall enabling people to hold ‘birds of a feather’ networking groups.
Neeharika made a brief presentation about the group. She was amazed to see the growth in the group and said she was ready to launch this nationally. Her passion for the cause and her hard work paid off. Advisors Ranjani Saigal, Sanjay Kudrimoti, Yogita Miharia, Kamal Tikku made a brief presentation. Advisor Dr. Chander Kapasi was unable to attend the event but sent her best wishes. The core team members for YIP also shared their vision.
The people were so engaged in conversations that the scheduled 2 hours felt short. People made some great connections which would help them both at a professional and a social level.
Kudos to Neeharika Munjal for conceiving this wonderful idea and executing it to perfection. Lokvani wishes her the very best of luck as she grows this organization to other cities.
