Brij Garg 04/13/2023 Hindu Heritage Day is back to in-person mode on Saturday, May 20,
2023 from 3 to 8 pm. It features
attractions for the whole family with kite flying, performances, cuisine,
colorful Indian clothing, jewelry, mela,
exhibitions, summer camp information. It
will be held at Marlborough Middle School in Marlborough, MA. Program is free
and there is plenty of parking. It is a day to
celebrate through our arts, music, dances, customs, achievements,
exhibits, stories, plays and cuisine. Children will showcase the performing
arts they have cultivated in the auditorium making their parents and teachers
proud. Activities such as kite flying, face-painting, mehendi designs and
stalls of colorful Indian clothing and jewelry will add to the atmosphere. Booths from various community groups will acquaint you of their services.
Representatives from various spiritual traditions, charity groups, summer camps
will be there. Sanskrit Bharti (which teaches conversational Sanskrit)
booth will be there. Bhagvad Gita translations in various regional languages
including English will be available. Other hard to find items such as
Amar Chitra Katha books will be available. Information on establishing
college scholarships and their long term administration to honor
loved ones will be available. Exhibitions related to Hindu culture which have been prepared by local researchers and artists
will adorn the school hallways. Winners of the Storytelling Contest will receive their prizes. Youths under 18 can submit their entries till
April 24, 2023. For information, they

please register at hhd2023.eventbrite.com to
save time during the entry and to enable organizers to arrange for food etc. A few individuals who
have brought glory to Hindu dharma by their exceptional contributions in fields
of spirituality, arts, service, science and technology will be recognized
by Samskriti Sauabh Samman. Those who have businesses will be offered free advertising space (business card size, on
space available basis) in the electronic souvenir. Please send
