Press Release 08/25/2004
TiE-Boston is selectively inviting investment professionals to participate in the TiE-Boston VC Delegation to India. The goal is to take senior investment professionals to India to:
• Provide delegates with “hands-on” experience of the potential of doing business with
India by exposing the delegates to key Indian entrepreneurs, politicians, government
officials, industrialist, lawyers, accountants and other business ecosystem participants.
• Expose the delegates to individual investment opportunities to provide a sense of the
quality and types of opportunities emanating from India.
• Lay the foundation for US investment and venture community to get further involved in
investing in India.
• Allow participants to network with each other and introduce them to senior business
professionals and entrepreneurs in the India.

the right mix of delegates to go on the trip and we hope you or a senior professional from your
firm can participate.
