Indian Americans for Burlington (IAB) held its annual Diwali Celebration on the Burlington Town Common on September 25th. Hundreds attended, viewing magnificent dance performances, tasting delicious food by Treasury and Nirvana, getting a head start on their holiday shopping, and applying beautiful henna tattoos. 

The theme for the program was "SAMYA -Equal Consideration Towards All Human Beings".  The program was coordinated by Shital Bhammar, Deepa Agrawal, Gini Datta, Shweta Mathur, Tanu Basu and Indra Deb. Special thanks to Menka Jethra for fundraising. Thanks to all the volunteers without whom the event of this magnitude would not have been possible.

The Burlington Council for Aging was recognized for their service to the Community.
