The craftsmen of these unique items are from certain select underprivileged areas within the interior slums of Bombay, having immense talent but are underpaid by the leading brand store. The exquisite embroidery of these talented workers does not go unrewarded. Pallavi Shah gets these laborers to work for her who get a percent in the profits rather than a flat salary.
