Nazraana - An Unprecedented Multilingual Mega Musical Fundraiser in Boston! 

The Cause:

Nazraana – we are all looking forward to this mega musical event in support of 25-year old non-profit, “Samarthanam Trust for Disabled” that is rapidly expanding its Livelihood Resource Centers (LRCs – education and skilling facilities) across India to enable differently-abled people to earn their rightful place in the society.

The Artists:

India's heartthrob singer Vijay Prakash, the multilingual melody magician will pair up with Boston's own melody queen Anuradha Palakurthi. Accompanying is a mega band of 40 musicians (all of their U.S. visas have been confirmed!) from Mumbai and Bengaluru, led by Kamlesh Bhadkamkar - this is going to be a musical riot on the stage. Having witnessed earlier presentations of Juju Productions, take it from us; you will leave the hall wanting more of it all!

The Ambience:

The grand venue, Hanover Theatre in Worcester, MA is just one ideal place for such musical outings. The stage, seats, lighting, AV - each detail will appeal the audience and make it a very enjoyable evening. The organizers did a wonderful job picking this place. Parking is just across from the Hall, so no worries. Organizers are also ensuring complimentary dinner for each one in the audience – now that is a great deal!

The Organizers:

The new executive team at Samarthanam USA, led my Mr. Varavani Dwarki is working to ensure success of the show. The important thing here is that Juju Productions’ Prashanth Palakurthi, and Anuradha Palakurthi are presenting this once-in-a-decade event. Those who have attended Juju's productions before can actually gauge what this event brings for them. If you are not one of them, come over and check it for yourself on Aug. 20. This is the 75th year of Indian independence - such a big milestone celebration and hence we are delighted that India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB) and India Society of Worcester (ISW) have joined hands as organizing partners. The Nazraana event will be the culmination of a multi-week Indian independence celebration by these two organizations!

Numerous regional Indian organizations from across New England have come on board as community partners! It is a wonderful feeling that so many Indian organizations are coming together to celebrate the milestone Indian independence anniversary through many of their own events, culminating in the grand, mega-musical event – “Nazraana”.
