NAZRAANA Performer - Anuradha Palakurthi

Samarthanam USA, Juju Productions, India Association of Greater Boston (IAGB), and India Society of Worcester (ISW) are presenting Nazraana, a musical event on Aug 20, 5pm at the Hanover Theater in Worcester, MA.

Anuradha Palakurthi’s previous concerts in Boston are known for not just her exceptional delivery but also majestic music with arguably the best band from Bollywood and sound by the YashRaj Films team.  This concert is going one up over her earlier performance as we are flying in  probably the largest ever Bollywood Band to the United States. In the last six years Anuradha has created over two dozen original compositions with Bappi Lahiri, Suresh Wadkar, Salim Sulaiman, Kumar Sanu, Guitar Prasanna, Shivamani and others. Anuradha toured the US as the female lead singer with Suresh Wadkar, Kumar Sanu, Bappi Lahiri, Prasanna and Deepak Pandit. She has also recorded a duet with Hariharan for Ekal Vidyalaya.

In 2020 Anuradha became the first American to win the prestigious Radio Mirchi Award (Indian Grammy) for her Jaan meri Album, composed by Ustad Nishat Khan.

Anuradha is the host of TV Asia’s weekly program - Jukebox with Juju that runs at 8pm on Mondays. Apart from music, Anuradha is a philanthropist serving causes ranging from Veterans, Education in India and organizations that provide dignity to the differently abled.  Anuradha is the serving chairperson of MIT’s Heritage Arts of South Asia (MITHAS) an organization that promotes Classical art forms from South Asia.
