Jaya Pandey 06/09/2022 Hindi Manch Invites you to join in person Sahitya Sammelan on Sunday, June 12, 2022, in Temple Emunah, Lexington, MA from 2 PM. The audience will get a chance to enjoy poetry, music and theatre. The event registration is free for Hindi Manch members, and $10 for non-members. Hindi Manch President Preetesh Shrivastava said that this event will bring back some normalcy in our lives. The Vice President Anish Khanzode added that music and poetry have power to heal our mind and soul and its Hindi Manch’s humble attempt to provide that after a very turbulent time of our life. Hindi Manch has been organizing the Sahitya Sammelan since 2013 and New England Audience have supported such programs whole heartedly. Raksha Soni and Sonali Doshi, the co-chairs of the event mentioned that there will be seven poets, a play: ‘Meer Kallu Ki Gawahi’, and a music program. The duo is very energized with the hope that New England audience will support Hindi Manch’s literary effort as its other programs. Raksha Soni has been part of Hindi Manch core committee for a long time and It will be the first program for Sonali Doshi as the co-chair. Both of them are very excited to bring this well planned program with the team members– Jharna Madan, Nilesh Agrawal, Twinkle Morbia, Ajay Jaisingh, Sneh Jaisingh, Syed Ali Rizvi, Abhishek Gupta, Sanjay Jain, Pranay Khare, Namita Aghi and Jaya Pandey. Raksha Soni, one of well known artist in Massachusetts said color and words are two most prominent mediums of expression for her. She feels that Hindi Manch has played a big role in keeping her inner connection alive and being part of these programs makes her feel closer to home. Sonali Doshi said she is happy to be a part of an organization which promotes Hindi-urdu language and Indian culture and instrumental in keeping the culture alive in younger generation with its various programs. Team member Jaya Pandey said she is very proud to see the young kids participating and enjoying the Hindi Manch events.Seeing young kids volunteering, connecting and cherishing the Indian-ness keeps her motivated to be part of the team. The poets are looking forward to mesmerize the audience some of them have been part of Hindi Manch Sahitya Sammelan before and new poets are excited to share the stage with them and bring their poetry to esteem audience of New England. The audience will enjoy the Hindi-Urdu poetry, music and theatre and of course the company of their Hindi-Urdu loving friends. The poets are Marij Kirmani. Amit Khare, Poppy Charnalia, Muneebur Rahman, Maneesh Shrivastava, Rajeev Rawat and Manoj Chaurasia Hindi Manch, a non-profit organization that promotes Hindi and Urdu languages, and related dialects through music, theater, cultural events and literary sittings.
