Is Aamir Khan a spoilsport? Friends of the star defend his decision to deny Sahara a no objection certificate to make a spoof of his blockbuster Oscar nominated film ‘Lagaan’. Titled 'Thakaan' the film was slated to have comic Johnny Lever play Bhuvan. Most spoofs planned by the producer Sahara India Parivar have Jhonny playing the lead; in Bewada ( a take on Devdas) he plays Devdas to Jaspal Bhatti’s Chunnilal.

Amisha Patel has served her father Amit Patel a legal notice charging him with "mismanaging" her accounts and assets amounting to Rs.120 million and has demanded the immediate payment of money due to her. Amisha has left her parental home and is staying in a rented flat.
The legal notice sent by her lawyer Vibhav Krishna asks Amit Patel "to settle her accounts immediately failing which she would file a suit for mismanagement of her assets".
