KAMS Charity Organizing Global Virtual Classical Fusion Event “TANSEN” on Sunday April 10^th @ 10.30 AM Eastern

KAMS Charity, a 501c3 non profit organization from Boston  (www.facebook.com/kamscharityboston) brings to you musical extravaganza "TANSEN" a Classical Fusion JugalBandi on Sunday April 10th at 10:30AM EST / 9:30AM CST / 7:30AM PST.

KAMS Charity mission is to promote and support underserved artists around the Globe. This time through TANSEN we will promote Hindustani Classical Music.  This historic event will be witnessed by music lovers from 30+ states from USA and 20+ countries streamed Live on Zoom and Facebook (details below).

The eminent artists performing "Jugalbandi" in this Classical Fusion event are Guru Dr Riktarang Patra and Guru Dr Anurag Patra, who are PhD in Music. They both are “A” Grade All India Radio (AIR) and Doordarshan Artists. Patra Brothers are trained in three Gharana Styles (Gwalior, Kirana and Patiala) under the guidance of Late Pandit Dr. Pradeep Patra (also their Father). Today's many well known musical artists have received their classical training under the guidance of  Patra brothers. Guru Dr. Pradip Patra needs no introduction. Panditji was trained under Guru Pandit Kundal Addi Narayan Rao. He completed his PhD in Music along with Pandit Binayak Patbardhan and Pandit BR Debdhar from Gwalior Gharana.  Panditji's lineage is being carried forward by his two sons, Patra Brothers in a Guru-Sisya Parampara who have been imparting this knowledge to various students for many years now.

The accompanists for this event would be Sri Piku Rath on Keyboard, Sri Bhabatosh Mohanty on Guitar, Sri Nikunja Samal on Tabla and Sri Alok Prusty on Octopad/Drums. Sri Gulshan Nadeem will be the Anchor for this event.
