Yashaswi Sirpotdar is recognized today as one of the major talents of Hindustani Vocal Music. She has numerous awards to her credit and many highly successful performances at prestigious venues all over India. Her sophisticated style of presentation, mastery over the ‘Raags’ and Taans’, her understanding of the mood of a composition and her interaction with ‘Theka’ are highlights of her performances. Yashaswi, who was born in August of 1980, began her career as a child prodigy. Her Grandmother, musician Kalavanti Sathe encouraged Yashaswi to take up music. At the age of two and a half years, Yashaswi gave her first performance with her Grandmother, and she hasn’t looked back since. Yashaswi was fortunate to be groomed by Pandita Padma Talwalkar. Mrs. Talwalkar trained her for eighteen years and taught her various facets of ‘Gwalior’, ‘Jaipur’ and ‘Attrauli’ Gharanas of ‘Khayal’ music. Over the years, she has also given vocal support to Mrs. Talwalkar during her performances.
Rohit Mujumdar is a talented and one of the established tabla players of the younger generation. He was initiated into music early in his childhood. He got his initial training in Tabla under the tutelage of Guru Shri. Babanrao Bhavsar, Jalgaon. At age of 11 he was fortunate to be accepted as a disciple by Great Guru Padma-Shri Taal-Yogi Pt. Suresh Talwalkar. Learning the techniques and nuances of tabla playing in Gurukul system, he has emerged as an established versatile tabla player in the form of tabla solo playing and a sought-after accompanist for Indian Classical Instrumental and Vocal Music. Rohit is an All India Radio (AIR) 'A' Grade Artist and has many solo concerts to his credit.
Rahul Gole is a self-taught harmonium player. He has accompanied many well-known vocalists at prestigious venues.
