Cancer Shakti Foundation is a global non-profit volunteer and donation based organization dedicated to raise cancer awareness by community outreach and education. Additionally the foundation is also leading an initiative to host a variety of in-person and virtual events to raise funds that are donated to other cancer non-profit organizations to facilitate cancer research and help in medical expenses incurred by cancer patients.   

Keeping to that mission, Cancer Shakti Foundation in collaboration conducted an in person social event in 2021 led by Dr. Shefali Agarwal, founder of Cancer Shakti Foundation. This event was successfully accomplished with the support of many other local community that included local youth volunteers. This was the first series of innovative fund-raisers planned for the foundation and look forward for many in 2022 and years to come.  

Cancer Shakti Foundation donated the funds raised from this event to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society ( LLS). Subsequently, the foundation received proclamation from LLS which is highlighted below in the letter received from them:

You can rest assured that we will remain relentless until we achieve our mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, myeloma and all blood cancers, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
