Mouni stunned in a white saree, whereas the groom, who opted for a South inspired ensemble - a beige colored kurta, paired with a lungi, showed off his uber-cool side in this simple outfit. Mouni Roy is an Indian actress, singer, Kathak dancer, and model who primarily works in Hindi films and television. She debuted into television in 2007 with the role of Krishna Tulsi in the soap opera Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus. Suraj Nambiar was born to Jain parents in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He is an Indian businessman and investment banker based in Dubai.

With all gusto, Farhan Akhtar announced his first directorial in 10 years, Jee Le Zaraa, a film on female bonding that brings three leading stars together for the first time- Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt. However, the first name might opt out of the film as she has just embraced motherhood. The actress and her husband Nick Jonas recently welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy and Chopra wishes to devote all her time to the newborn. "But now with her motherhood Priyanka wants to devote her time end energy to the baby, at least for now." However, no confirmation about the same has been made.

Kathak legend Birju Maharaj, who had been diagnosed with kidney disease a few days ago and put on dialysis, died at his home late on Sunday. He was 83. Maharaj ji, as he was popularly known, was said to be playing with his grandsons when his health unexpectedly deteriorated, requiring him to be rushed to the hospital, where he was declared dead.
