services to community ‘I wanted to let you that I enjoyed immensely volunteering at the B.A.A and serving water to the runners’
President of World Hindu Council, Boston chapter Kaushik Patel said. The
chairman of TCS, Surya Kant says in connection with providing community
services, “We sponsor running events across the world because we want to
inspire local communities to live healthy and active lifestyles, and because of
the obvious parallels between marathons and the growth and transformation
journeys that we help our customers undertake. Running a marathon
makes you feel that there’s nothing you can’t do. With each step, you’re
building on belief.†Their mission and actions stand as examples of Seva in Hinduism which
means more than just service or to serve. It means to serve selflessly for the
well-being and growth of a community. WHCA, founded in 1970 and incorporated in the state of New
York in 1974, is an independent, nonprofit, tax-exempt and volunteer-based
charitable organization serving the needs of Hindu community in USA. The
services of WHCA includes Hindu Dharma Education (Vedic scriptures, languages),
Balvihar, SAT Classes, Humanities, Music, Dance, Library, Yoga, Festival

consulting partner for the Boston Marathon since 2010. On October 01, 2021, WHCA organized the virtual worldwide opening
ceremony program of ‘Hindu Heritage Month’, with more than 100 Hindu, Sikh, Buddhist,
and Jain organizations, and temples. At the same time, more than 20 states and
numerous local authorities, officially recognized the October as Hindu Heritage
Month for our remarkable professional contributions to the world and for our
rich and vibrant Heritage. It is the time to show our respect and solidarity
towards our Hindu Cultural Heritage and show case our contributions made in the
