IAGB, in collaboration with Hopkinton Cricket Club and Hoysala Social and Sports Club, is hosting the Independence Day Cup - Cricket Tournament in commemoration of July 4th - US Independence Day and upcoming India's 75th Independence Day celebration on August 15. The “IAGB Independence Cup” is up for grabs in New England. IAGB is gathering a collection of hotly competitive cricket teams who will be competing head to head in the July 4th weekend on 3rd and 4th in Hopkinton.

With the pandemic tempering down its assault in the region, sporty Indians, men and women, are raring to get outdoors and play. This tournament offers an ideal getaway to bask in the sun and play their heart out competitively and for fun.

Teams of 6 can register to play and each team can have 6 players. The beauty is that every team gets to play 2 innings for sure. These will be 6 over matches.

“This will be a real fun family event where we get to experience the thrill of Indian cricket spirit that we sorely miss here in the US. Come with your family and friends and enjoy the spectacle. The additional benefit from participation is that all proceeds go to charity” said Ashok Jakati, the event organizer.
