Recently, the two joined forces with advertising agency RepIndia to push their Instagram handle, COVID 911, that shares verified and up-to-date information, to thousands of followers and their families in need. An initiative born out of the agency’s employees volunteering for relief work, COVID 911 has been successful in providing timely updates to many people from various corners of the country, with Mini Mathur and Shruti Seth actively encouraging people to follow and keep a tab on the page. As Arjun Kapoor’s love interest in the recently released web film for Netflix, Sardar Ka Grandson, Rakul Preet Singh says she was reminded of the time she spent with her grandparents, listening to stories of how the world had changed, post-partition. “Filming this was heart-warming because it has a beautiful emotional undertone. I connected with the story because, like the characters in the film, my grandparents also belonged to that part of the world [pre-partition Lahore]. I have grown up listening to stories from my grandparents. The film stresses on valuing your family.†Singh could also draw parallels between the personality traits of her character, and herself. “Radha likes to get her work done correctly. I could relate to that because I am also a walking-talking time table, and particular about things,†she says of the film that narrates the story of a man who returns from the US to fulfil his ageing grandmother’s (Neena Gupta) last wish.

Sharing further details, she wrote, "braj vaasiyon ki seva ke lie janpad mathura mein 7 oxygen enhancer machine sthaapit karva kar main apne aap ko dhanye mehasoos kar rahi hoon. Sheeghr hi janpad mathura mein aur oxygen enhancer machine grameen kshetra ke braj vaasiyon ke lie samarpit kar rahi hoon, Is tarah janpad mein lagbhag 60 oxygen bed aur uplabdh ho jaenge.
