Problem 1:

John computes that the mean of 25 items in his grocery bill is $3.14. He realizes that he made a mistake in price of an item. Instead of $4.50 he used $5.50.  What should be the actual mean of his grocery bill?

Problem 2:
Five integers are in the ratio 1: 2: 3: 4: 5.  Their arithmetic mean is 12. What is  the smallest of these numbers.
